This telephoto lens will not only support traditional zoom capabilities but also low-light telephoto and ultra-telephoto macro modes, positioning the Xiaomi 15 Ultra as a standout device for photography enthusiasts. While the specifics of these 50MP sensors are not yet confirmed, the main sensor is anticipated to feature a large probably 1-inch+ sensor with fixed aperture, continuing the trend of large sensors used in Xiaomi’s top-tier devices.

For comparison, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra also comes with a quad-camera setup featuring a 50MP rear camera with a 1″ Sony LYT-900 sensor, f/1.63 ~ f/4 variable aperture, Hyper OIS, LED flash, and a Leica Summilux lens.

The setup is complemented by a 50MP 122° Leica ultra-wide angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture and 5cm super macro capability.
